From my childhood I liked to discover something new every day – new knowledges, new places, new languages, new impressions …
Thinking about choosing a future profession, I wanted to combine everything that I like and was interesting in it.
But not everything is so simple in the profession of an interpreter, as it may seem at first sight.
It is necessary not only to knoe a foreign language at a high level, but also to have a quick reaction, smartness and resourcefulness.
A good interpreter must possess not only a large vocabulary, good knowledge of grammar, stylistics and excellent memory, in my opinion, he/she must also combine qualities such as empathy, communication skills, a high level of responsibility, attention to details and helpfulness.
The most important is that, despite all the difficulties, I get a lot of pleasure doing my favorite job, because as Confucius said:
